About the role
This role is responsible for full quality inspection and road testing of all fully converted electric vehicles, covering mechanical assembly appearance, structural modification quality, high-voltage electrical installation, wiring layout, thermal system assembly and overall vehicle finishing. The position conducts comprehensive static physical inspection, on-site functional verification, standard cross-checks and professional road tests to ensure all converted vehicles comply with company technical specifications, industry safety standards and legal roadworthy requirements. All unqualified assembly details, installation defects and functional abnormalities discovered during inspection and road tests are recorded accurately for workshop rectification and mandatory re-inspection.
The QC engineer completes systematic vehicle commissioning checks and standardized road tests, including high-voltage insulation testing, power system stability verification, braking system performance detection, electric function inspection, vehicle dynamic performance testing, and overall road condition adaptability verification. The role sorts inspection and road test data, prepares official finished vehicle quality reports, archives all inspection and testing records, and tracks quality rectification progress closely. Regular quality sampling and workshop process spot checks are performed to optimize conversion quality standards, reduce rework rate, and ensure stable and consistent delivery quality of all EV conversion projects.
Requirements
Familiar with vehicle mechanical structure, assembly standards and EV high-voltage system safety
Able to independently complete finished vehicle physical inspection, electrical function testing and safety standard verification
Proficient in using inspection tools, testing instruments and quality judging standards for vehicle acceptance
Familiar with quality record filing, inspection report writing and rectification tracking procedures
Fluent in both English and Chinese
A valid driver’s license is required
High-voltage EV safety certification or relevant vehicle inspection certification is highly preferred
