About the role
This position covers full-process EV conversion for classic vehicles, including the dismantling of original engines, fuel systems, exhaust systems, and transmission assemblies. The role involves installation of EV battery packs, electric motors, inverters, and auxiliary components, as well as routing high-voltage and low-voltage wiring and assembling thermal cooling systems. All installation work follows strict safety standards to deliver fully compliant, road-ready vehicle conversions, while maintaining organized workshop conditions and routine tool maintenance.
The role covers mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis and repairs, test data organization, and technical document completion. The incumbent strictly follows high-voltage safety protocols, conducts ongoing safety inspections and risk assessments, and collaborates with the workshop and engineering team to deliver high-quality, regulation-compliant EV conversion projects on schedule.
Requirements
Familiar with traditional vehicle chassis, braking, suspension and mechanical structures
Awareness in standard workshop tools and workshop operations
Detail-oriented, proactive, responsible and able to meet project deadlines
Good teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with engineering and workshop teams
Physically fit to complete daily workshop and vehicle refitting work
Fluent in both English and Chinese
A valid driver’s license is recommended
Valid automotive technician certification is highly preferred
